About Physics Study Centre

Physics Study Centre was started in 2003 in janakpuri locality of New Delhi with a goal to provide quality classroom coaching to students in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for Medical & Engineering entrance exams.

Physics Study Centre continued to deliver excellent results every year and it is now a kind of its tradition. 100% students get selected every year in major engg and medical colleges - IIT, NIT, DCE, CPMT, DPMT etc. Physics Study Centre grew into one of the most reputed coaching institutes in west delhi.

We coach students at 10+2 level in three subjects physics, chemistry & mathematics. Our faculty mostly consists of engineers from IITs. Each one master of their own field and dedicated towards single minded goal to motivate and push students to achieve their full capacity. We want them to give their 100%.

Why Physics Study Centre has been so successful?

1. We form small batches of 6-7 students and class sessions are generally of two hours each.
2. Benefit of small batches - efficient individualised attention.
3. Another benefit of small batches - flexible timings. Sometimes students of a batch can decide among themselves so as to what time seems fit to take classes and let the respective instructor know. If that time period is not scheduled with another batch by the instructor, he can take the class.
4. Stress to basic concepts & problem solving. A chapter is divided into small topics. Each topic is explained lucidly and right after, students are made to work on problems based on that topic. Starting from simple problems, instructor gently takes them towards solving much more challenging problems. Instructor clears the doubt of each student individually.
5. Like the gold purifies in fire, students here achieve their maximum performance through rigourous training.

Selection Process of Students:

1. Most of the students who come here have above 88% marks in class 10 board exams.
2. Quantitative aptitude test.
3. We ask them to prepare on their favourite topic in Mathematics and take a test on that particular topic. Questions asked are a bit of higher standard. But we don't expect them to solve all the questions. We just want to see their approach towards solving mathematical problems.
4. Puzzle - well, something like the popular one 'divide pizza in eight parts with three cuts' (if you can!)

Students here form a strong bond with the faculties which is highly unlikely in other coaching institutes. Most of the students who come here are already enrolled in so called big institutes like FIITJEE, Aakash, Vidyamandir, Narayana etc. They come here because they get something here which they don't get anywhere else.
