Take Online Classes: How To

Hardware required:
  1. A computer system with broadband internet connection. Atleast 512k connection is good for taking online classes. Switch to one of those unlimited internet usage plans in which you pay a fixed amount every month for unlimited web surfing and downloads.
  2. Mouse pen - Also called digital pads or PC tablets. Buy mouse pen from any good manufacturer like Genius. Should cost around Rs 3000/4000. Costlier mouse pens are also there with features like storage. They can store hundreds of digital pages. They run on batteries and you can also take them to your classroom classes and use them just like your notebook. Later on you can save those digital notes on computer and get printed also. No need to waste time scanning paper!
  3. Tablet PCs - Well, you can avoid the item no. 2 and just buy a Tablet PC for yourself ! Though I prefer to use a separate digital pad because its light , I feel more comfortable with it and it can also be taken to classroom classes.
Softwares required:
  1. Get Skype from http://www.skype.com/intl/en/download/ . Install it on your computer and register to get a skype id.
  2. Java - You may need to install java runtime environment depending on the kind of website or software tool being used for online interactions between students and the teacher.
